Cecino Ski Resort

Cecino Ski Resort

Winter Holiday. Cețina Ski Resort. Let’s start with the fact that the entire hotel complex in Cețina exudes warmth and hospitality. It’s not made up of simple thin-walled buildings, but rather traditional Slavic wooden lodges with a touch of European charm—eco-friendly, reliable, and very cozy—the dream of any skier! After spending hours skiing down snow-covered slopes, returning to a warm house where firewood crackles merrily in the fireplace and your friends share tales of adventures on the ski slopes and T-bar lifts, you immediately feel wrapped in comfort, and you just don’t want to leave.

Moreover, Cețina is not just a typical ski resort for skiing enthusiasts, but also a wonderful place for a winter vacation (especially around New Year’s), with horse-drawn sleigh rides, various excursion programs, and evening entertainment. In Cețina, you can enjoy delicious meals at reasonable prices and have a great time even if you’re not into snowboarding or skiing like your friends. Cețina is a socially appealing resort—modest in setup, but it certainly doesn’t disappoint its visitors.

As for the skiing itself, there’s not much variety in slopes—only one slope, 600 meters long. Still, it’s a fairly long descent (there’s room to have fun, so to speak), served by a T-bar ski lift. Nearby, there’s a panoramic bar where you can grab a satisfying bite. The resort also features a rental point for skis, sleds, snowboards, bindings, and other winter sports gear. There’s a secured parking area and a medical center on site—just in case.

It’s a pity that true thrill-seekers or confident experts won’t find much to do here… However, for those who enjoy mixing a bit of skiing adrenaline with quad biking or sleigh rides, this resort is just right!

The ski slope on Mount Chernivtsi turned out to be quite enjoyable—it may not be winding or suited for complex maneuvers, but it does have a very steep incline. From the top, you can’t see the bottom half of the slope, which creates a thrilling burst of adrenaline when skiing down “with the wind.”

Overall impressions are, of course, positive, but there’s still much for the Cețina administration to create and improve in order to attract more winter tourists and vacationers—such as adding more slopes of all kinds or building a fun park, for example.
